Prof. Takuya Kimura of Kyushu University, Japan Visits the SFS

On September 16, 2019, Prof. Takuya Kimura of the School of Education of Kyushu University, Japan visited the SFS at the invitation of Department of Japanese Language and Literature. Wang Ya’nan, a graduate from USTB who is studying for master’s degree in Kyushu University, accompanied him during this visit.  

At 8:30 a.m., Prof. Chen Hongwei, dean of the SFS began by extending her warm welcome to Prof. Kimura on behalf of the school. She outlined the overall situation and activities of the SFS in academic exchanges in English, and hoped these exchanges and cooperation in general will continue smoothly.

Later, in a harmonious and pleasant atmosphere, Prof. Wang Shuwei, director of the Department of Japanese Language and Literature, discussed with Prof. Kimura  related matters and details of academic exchanges and cooperation between the two schools, expressing his high hopes for the coming exchanges and cooperation.  Asso. Prof. Gao Xifeng, vice director of Department of Japanese, Assoc. Prof. Bian Jing and Li Zhengzheng also attended the meeting.

Prof. Kimura then met withstudents of the Department of Japanese in Meeting Room 301. This meeting was to discuss  academic exchanges, and was presided over by Asso. Prof. Bian Jing.
