To do a good job in the service and management of overseas students during the current worldwide spread of the  epidemic , the SFS recently established an overseas student liaison group with Wang Yinghui, deputy Party secretary  of the SFS, as the group leader, and Wang Chunli, secretary of Youth League Committee of the SFS, and Liu Hong, the counselor, as the deputy group leaders. The group was divided into three sections, namely for Japan, South Korea, and Europe according to the location of the students, taking charge of 26 overseas students.

The liaison group was set up to help teachers of the SFS quickly learn about the needs of overseas students and provide more contact information. The group held an online meeting at 8:00 p.m. on March 29, chaired by Wang Chunli. The meeting appointed Zhuo Han, Ren Xuejing, and Liu Jianing as the student leaders  responsible for the three contact groups in Japan, South Korea, and Europe respectively. Furthermore, a working mechanism was set up to enable  the student leaders to report contact information and material needs on a weekly basis, and for counselors to contact students one-to-one on a daily basis and pay timely attention to the situation of students and local epidemic situations.

Recently, relying on the liaison group, the SFS  has shown great concern for students studying and living abroad. Knowing that 4 students in Japan had an insufficient supply of masks and difficulties in purchasing them overseas, the SFS procured  160 surgical masks and sent them to the students s via SF Express.

In the future, the liaison group will further strengthen communication with students, keep an eye on the epidemic, and provide better support and more guarantees for students overseas. No matter where you are, the SFS is your family.
