Research Fields:

I work on Formal approaches to meaning in Mandarin Chinese, especially Categorial grammars, including Combinatory Categorial Grammar and Type Logical Grammar. I am interested in language phenomena that are sitting at syntax- semantics interface, as well as semantics- pragmatics interface, such as Chinese quantificational structure and Chinese information structure. I’ve translated some English books on theoretical linguistics, culture and children’s books as well.
